Should i pick up jason campbell
Jackson M. Moore C. McCoy B. Gabbert T. Tebow C. And with no draft picks, Hue Jackson, the mouth that roared, will have to overpay Campbell to bring him back. Campbell is a great person, saw him on the sidelines this past Sunday supporting his team. That says alot. Palmer or Campbell may the best QB stay. I am a Raider fan and flat out Jason got the do-do end of the stick here.
He was playing really well and doing a great job with this team. He got hurt laying it on the line and the Raiders just tossed him aside. Palmer is here and I am happy to have him, but I just feel really bad for Jason. I understand why the move was done. After a decade of losing this team is ready to make a run at the West and that was not going to happen with Boller.
Good luck Jason, I bet the Redskins fans would love to have you back. I hope he wins for years to come, just not in the AFC West. Maybe with a few more reps. We were set with Jason Campbell and Gradkowski. Gradkowski could have held it down until JC came back. But for some odd reason they choose Boller to be the backup…let Bruce Almighty walk in free agency..
JAX — Jacksonville will give their first-round pick another season to start, unless he implodes horribly, or ownership decides to clean house on the front office and the coaching staff.
STL — Sam Bradford is making how much? The Rams have too much invested to bench him for Jason Campbell. The fade would be smart to keep him.
Smart and the fade seldom meet. And all it cost was a 1 and a 2 for a rental QB. He had zero arm strength, his reaction time was way too slow, he pretty much looked completely lost.
Agree with NoHomeTeam. Seattle makes the most sense for Campbell. Seattle would really be a good fit for JC in my opinion. I watched JC bust his butt in WAS while he was here and he did a great job despite learning a new offense each year he was here.
I was pretty disappointed. JC is a genuinely great guy and a skilled QB. Jackson, C. Whitehurst, T. Tebow, M. Cassell, A. Download and subscribe to the Washington Football Talk podcast. Playing in Washington is something else that Campbell believes isn't helping Haskins feel less stressed.
Coming into the franchise in , Campbell understood the rich history of the organization and the passion the fanbase has. Wanting to be the man to bring the team back to it, and avoid being a quarterback that failed to do so, only created more pressure for him early on.
Haskins is in the same boat and may feel even more noise about returning Washington to the glory days given the team's recent stretch of play and history at the position. That only makes the mental aspect of the game more challenging for a young passer. Even though Campbell was in a similar situation to Haskins, the quarterback doesn't believe even he can truly understand the amount of pressure No. Campbell grew up in Mississippi, so though he understood the importance of Washington Football, it was a new part of his life.
That isn't the case for Haskins. He's accounted for eight TDs, has thrown for an average of yards per game, and has hit over yards twice. So he may not be the prototypical air it out QB and get you plus points each week like Tom Brady , Aaron Rodgers , or Drew Brees , but he's effective enough to add depth as well as provide a start when needed. Sure the Texans game may have been his worst outing, but he's not going to do that bad again this season, especially with Cleveland , Kansas City , and Denver in each of the next three games.
Only the San Diego Chargers seem like a team that will compete with Oakland for the AFC West title, but as long as McFadden continues to pound on the ground, it's going to open up Campbell for some impressive numbers as the season progresses. Who Should I Draft? Mahomes II KC. Allen BUF. Murray ARI. Jackson BAL. Prescott DAL. Herbert LAC. Wilson SEA. Burrow CIN. Lawrence JAC. Stafford LAR.
Lance SF. Hurts PHI. Rodgers GB. Watson HOU. Fields CHI. Tagovailoa MIA.
